Orlando Trip Attendee:

 

I’m writing to provide an update on the status of our upcoming Orlando Yard Rewards trip, considering the recent developments regarding Tropical Storm Milton.

 

At this time, we are not making any changes to our plans. Both the resort and theme parks have affirmed every intention of remaining open, and there are no current reports of flight cancellations. We are proceeding as scheduled and look forward to welcoming you in Orlando.

 

However, we understand that the uncertainty surrounding the weather may be a concern for some of our valued guests. If you feel uncomfortable traveling under these conditions, please email us at rewards@carterlumber.com to let us know that you would like to cancel your trip. While we will not be able to offer compensation or a return of points for cancellations, your safety, comfort and peace of mind are our top priority.

 

For those who choose to attend, please note that by traveling down with us, you are acknowledging the potential risks associated with travel during this period of unpredictable weather. We will do everything we can to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, however, some disruptions outside of our control may occur. Our team will be working closely with the resort, airlines, and local weather service to do the best we can to make sure those disruptions are kept to a minimum.

 

This trip is one of the most fun events we have all year and it’s a real bummer to have to write a letter like this. I’m sure you feel the same reading it. We will continue to monitor Tropical Storm Milton and cross our fingers that it avoids as much of Florida as possible. We look forward to seeing as many of you as we can tomorrow.
